| Well we have been working hard. A colleague of mine Erik Negron and I have been working hard on the new website. Erik has completely redesigned the web templates and pretty soon we will have the new site up and running. We have not recieved any feedback to date, however John Brphy has some specific features the site must have. I am looking forward to launching the new site. The date for the launch will be December, won't tell which date exactly. I will see if I can get a few screen shots of the new look website to you soon. Regards Willie |

| This is a good idea. I need John Brophy to look into the idea of a CAMP bebo page. It can be done no question about that and I can link it to the CAMP website. So why don't we have that chat. feel free to chat to John in the mean time Regards Willie |

| Hi all What functionallity would you like to see in this Camp Bebo site? To keep it all in line with the same design it would be better to develop a unigue bebo site however i would suggest this to be put on a list of feature enhancements. Developing such a site or section requires time and the main focus at the moment is to get the new site up and running asap. None the less i would like to see what you would like to do on this bebo site. Regards Erik |

| Hi Willie, I think a bebo forum type for camp would be great, but you told me that would be too complex to operate. how possible is it to do??? |

| From a development point of view anything is possible, the accessibillity is what needs to be kept in mind which could make it a bit more complex. Bebo is a very feature rich site but not build with accessibillity in mind. In order to pull this off it would be less feature rich then bebo but with the main features in place, profile, friends ect. I'll be honest, i have never thought of developing such a site before but when thinking about it more and more i don't see a problem with it. As i said before though, it will take time as a site like that is build on a carefully designed database. If this is really something that the users on this site would like to see , count on my help. Saying that, the help of the site users is needed to, suggestions as to what and how you would like to see it would greatly help with the firsts steps of drawing up a design. Sorry for butting in here, just thought i would give a point of view from a developer and designer side Rgrds Erik _________________ Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.

| Hi John Creating a BEBO site is simple when you create the page within BEBO. Our first step is to keep the people who use our site informed through our forum and webpages. When you add another source of information such as BEBO you add another layer which will have to be updated separtely and consitently with the existing CAMP website. So what we will do is deliver a website with our own forum and will will link to members BEBO pages for now. John wait until you see the Blog functionality in the site, you of all people will appreciate the baby steps approach. Bebo is popular with a segment of people I would suggest that you create your own CAMP Bebo page if necessary and we can link that in with our site. John I had said that designing a BEBO page in the CAMP website is complex operating it is a piece of Pxxs. My Colleague Erik and I are working hard to finish the site off, and I am sure you will like the finished product. Erik has completely rebuilt the site and we have had other experts verify the code and provide feed back from a web design perspective and they have given the thumbs up. I cant wait to deliver it to you and everyone. you the man Willie |

| News Flash We will be launching the new site this Wednesday. There is alot to take in as this site is quite different than the previous one. Mind you were not done yet and there are still a few pages which will require updating. The site requires that all members on all committees register, once you are registered you can have access to information pages not available to the public. In January my colleague and I will work to complete the Accessibility function of the website and finish off the remainder of the pages. At this point I would like to thank Erik Negron for the long days and nights working to Design and Develop this website, your time and effort is greatly appreciated. We hope you like what you see. |

| Phase 1 is now live and working fine. I already noticed a few small things that are easy fixes and will be implemented soon. These small things are browser related so you might not notice it unless ypu use a certain version browser. Happy Christmass to you all and i hope you enjoy what we have done so far Regards Erik _________________ Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.

| Well I am impressed with the work so far. For those of you who know anything about designing and developing a website you will realize the amount of time and effort put in to bringing this site live today. Yes we are far from done and there are lots of functionality to be implemented in the new year such as the Accessibility and the Resources features. Have a browse around and let us know if you see something you like or would like to change. Lastly I want to personally thank Erik for his time and the long nights working on the site. We at CAMP will find a way to thank you in the new year. Happy Christmas Willie |
